A Business Process (BP):
-a grouping of tasks needed to complete the process-
There are 2 types of tasks:
When it comes to tasks, there are two categories:
subjective tasks (ST) and non-subjective tasks (NST).
The former requires human time and/or input, whereas the latter doesn't necessitate any human involvement.
T = Task Time.
$ = Dollars per Task Time.
A simple formula illustration is as follows:
BP - Task Count = (ST) + (NST)
BP - Time Total = (ST x T) + (NST x T)
BP - Cost Total = (ST x T x $) + (NST x T x $)
Because tasks may have different STs and NSTs may have different values of T x $.
(n) = The task variable set.
