The former requires human time and/or input, whereas the latter does't necessitate any human involvement.

Applying this formula is the 1st step to find tasks in a business process that can be improved by Computer Automation (AI).



A Business Process (BP):

a grouping of tasks needed to complete the process-

There are 2 types of tasks:

When it comes to tasks, there are two categories:

A simple formula illustration is as follows:

BP - Task Count = (ST) + (NST)

BP - Time Total = (ST T) + (NST T)

BP - Cost Total = (ST x T x $) + (NST T x $)

Because tasks may have different STs and NSTs may have different values of T x $.
